Here at ADPR we normally do not take adult dogs from the public. Only under certain situations and after an evaluation is done can your dog be taken in by ADPR.
If you have an adult dog you need to place, there are many options available for you:
- You can have your canine listed on our private party adoption page for free - just e-mail adpr03@yahoo.com a description of your dog, pictures and the best way to contact you.
- You can post an ad on online publications.
- You can post flyers around town - like on the Petzoo or Animal Food Warehouse bulletin boards, supermarket bulletin boards, etc.
- As a last resort, you may surrender your dog to Animal Control.
We do however take puppies and pregnant or nursing moms from the public. We strongly encourage you to have your dogs spayed and neutered and we even offer low cost spay and neuter clinics every month. Click here to learn more.
