Meet Laika!

Laika is a 5 year old Husky. She was part of the Montana Creek dogs and that has made her very scared of just about everything. Laika warms up to people and is very sweet once she opens up. She is not aggressive and is almost 100% potty trained. Her last owners didn't have enough time for her and Laika needs someone who can provide her with special attention and training because of her severely neglected past. She does well with other dogs and warms up quickly to strangers. Hopefully with some time and training she will be a normal dog again and having another confidante doggie friend around would help that process along.

*Update* Laika is doing very well, she is calming down with her foster parent. She takes treats from him and is doing well socializing at the dog park. She is playing with other dogs and going up to people she knows. Laika is still nervous around strangers and in crowds but is much better and seems to feel comfortable around people she knows.
